NABB Receives Warm Welcome from Miami Mayor Manuel Diaz for the 2006 Miami International Bikefest

The 2006 Miami International Bikefest will be held August 31 – September 3 in Miami, Florida.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) August 1, 2006 -- The National Association of Black Bikers (NABB) receives a warm welcome from the Mayor of Miami, the Honorable Manuel Diaz, for the 2006 Miami International Bikefest. In a letter of support sent to NABB, Mayor Diaz offered his support for the bikefest and NABB. The highly anticipated event will take place in Miami during Labor Day weekend, August 31 – September 3, 2006.

In the official welcome letter for the 2006 Miami International Bikefest, Mayor Diaz states:

“On Behalf of the citizens of the City of Miami and my colleagues on the
City Commission, it give me great pleasure to extend an invitation to host the NABB Motorcycle Festival in our great City during Labor Day of 2006.”

The 2006 Miami International Bikefest Weekend is a “must-attend” charity event for motorcycle enthusiasts and those attracted to the biking lifestyle. NABB Miami International Bikefest Weekend will be a multi-venue, multi-cultural MEGA motorcycle festival designed to bring together all motorcycle cultures under one umbrella for a weekend of riding, exhibits, give-a-ways, concerts, parties, fashion shows, VIP celebrity events and a host of other activities. NABB estimates thousands of bikers and patrons from around the country will travel to Miami to enjoy a weekend fueled with speed, power, socializing, networking events, and fun in the sun.

In past years, NABB has held its International Bikefest Weekend in the City of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and attracted over 150,000 people with an estimated economic impact of more than $15 million. This year, with a shift in location, NABB will head south to sunny Miami.
