(PRWEB) August 4, 2006 -- Dr. Jacob DeLaRosa, Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, will be discussing Coronary Artery Disease in American Indians/ Native Americans at the 35th Annual Meeting & National Conference of the Association of American Indian Physicians in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Saturday August 5, 2006.

Dr. DeLaRosa is a leader in prevention and awareness of coronary artery disease in the underserved population as well as a leader in the field of cardiac surgery. “Coronary artery disease is the leading cause of death of American Indians in the United States and needs to be stopped,” says Dr. DeLaRosa.
