MCM-Nashville announces the signing of Canadian born diva, Lindsey Rae to recording and development contract. The Lindsey Rae recording project is presently in preproduction and is slated to begin actual recording in late September of 2006.

(PRWEB) August 28, 2006 -- MCM-Nashville announces the signing of Canadian born diva, Lindsey Rae to recording and development contract. According to MCM-Nashville executive James Story, “Lindsey Rae fits perfectly into the mold for the “diva” image we were searching for.” He went on to say, “Over the years I have worked with some of the most talented vocalist and musicians (including American Idol Star Kimberly Locke) in the business and Lindsey is truly one of the most talented singers I have encountered”

Lindsey Rae, originally from Southern Alberta, Canada, began formal voice training at age 15 at the Canadian Conservatory of Performing Arts. There she studied under acclaimed vocal instructor, Trish Jensen and received numerous honors including; Top Female Vocalist (Kiwanis Festival, Alberta) and National Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame Amateur Vocalist Award (Runner Up). In 2002 she participated in an exchange worker program and worked as an English teacher in Osaka, Japan. While living in Japan, she began to learn to speak and to sing in Japanese. Lindsey became quite popular in and around Osaka performing with some of the well known Japanese recording artists including superstar Hank Sasaki. In pursuit of a career in music, Lindsey made the move to Nashville where she studied and graduated from Volunteer State College with a degree in music.

MCM-Nashville Director of Operations, Mark Carman, and A&R Director James Story, will co-produce the Lindsey Rae recording project which is presently in preproduction and slated to begin actual recording in late September of 2006. The production duo announced that they will also incorporate the talents of famed Nashville record producer and session player, Bruce Watkins to lead the tracking sessions once production begins.
