Trypod Network Podcasts Scores Big With Dr. Floyd

In what seems to be a major coup, Trypod Network was able to land the hugely popular podcast, The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd. Trypod Network has quickly become the podcast network everyone is keeping an eye on.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 2, 2006 -- The Trypod Network (http://trypodnetwork.com), which has quickly become one of the most talked about podcast networks, announced today the addition of one of the most wildly popular audio shows on the Internet.

“The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd” (http://www.doctorfloyd.com) joins the elite podcasts that make up Trypod Network. While approached by other major podcast networks, Grant Baciocco and Doug Price, the creators of Dr. Floyd, decided to sign with The Trypod Network. “We wanted to be associated with a network that actually cares about the shows in their line-up. We wanted to sign with a network that just doesn’t open the floodgates and let everyone in, but one that cares about quality and has a strong sense of providing entertainment for everyone,” said Baciocco.

Dr. Floyd’s target audience includes“Anyone with an imagination and a passion for learning something new! Which should be just about anyone,” Grant says.. “We have fans that are young and not so young. Since we’re the web’s first family friendly entertainment podcast, it’ll stay that way!”

”The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd” has enjoyed success and acclaim worldwide, and was featured in the October, 2005 issue of “Spin” magazine as “an essential download.”

“This is a major accomplishment for Trypod Network,” says CEO and co-founder Charley Warady. “Dr. Floyd is a perfect fit, and we’re thrilled to have Grant and Doug with us.”

So what’s on the horizon for Dr. Floyd? Grant says, last season was one of the show’s biggest. “We had guests stars including Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) as George Washington, Don Novello (Father Guido Sarducci) as Galileo and Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (Abby Cadabby on Sesame Street) as Mrs. Floyd and Martha Washington. This season we’re going to have even more guest stars plays historical figures! The wackiness will continue to grow and Dr. Steve will continue to be evil. There’s nothing we can really do about that.”

Trypod Network is the primary destination for podcast listeners seeking the Internet’s best podcasts. Trypod Network allows the commercially undiscovered podcasters to maximize full potential from their podcasts. Trypod Network will bring to the advertisers the most profitable possible market in the podcast industry. To always achieve the premier brand name podcast network, Trypod Network will always maintain maximum selectivity and consider each action whether it is best for all three dimensions of Trypod Network.
