TV Pilot with CBS’ Daytime Star in New York Television Festival
The television pilot “On The Set” with host and CBS’ Network Daytime Star Frank Dicopoulos produced by Tom Phillips which takes a humorous, non-scripted “behind the scenes” look at CBS’ Networks Guiding Light will take part in the New York Television Festival on Friday, September 15th at 8:00PM at the DGA Theater in New York City.
Holmdel, NJ (PRWEB) September 8, 2006 -- The television pilot “On The Set” with host and CBS’ Network Daytime Star Frank Dicopoulus produced by Tom Phillips which takes a humorous, non-scripted “behind the scenes” look at CBS’ Networks Guiding Light will take part in the New York Television Festival on Friday, September 15th at 7:30PM at the Directors Guild in New York City.
Frank Dicopoulos debuted on Guiding Light as Frank Cooper in September of 1987. He also hosted On the Move for ESPN and the Miss Teenage America Pageant in Dallas.
Director, Producer and DP Tom Phillips with Amovie Company Inc. based in Holmdel, New Jersey met Mr. Dicopoulos working on pubic service announcements with Debra Harry from Blondie and New Jersey Radio Personality Big Joe Henry.
The TV spots produced for a New Jersey environmental group on the value of saving open space won numerous awards including the Telly, Omni Intermedia, AEGIS, Aurora, Marcom, Communicator and CINE Golden Eagle Awards.
The screening is being held at the DGA Theater at 110 West 57th St., between Avenue of the Americas and 7th Avenue. Several stars from the popular soap opera series are expected to be in attendance for the screening.
The 2006 NYTVF is supported by Signature Sponsor MSN and Official Media Sponsor Variety. The Festival is working in partnership with the William Morris Agency and in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of New York City.
