Hypertech’s R&D team started to develop Power Tuning software for 2007 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty Power Stroke diesels and 2006 GM C/K 2500/3500 Duramax trucks as soon as these vehicles arrived in dealer showrooms. Exhaust gas temperatures and emissions were monitored throughout the development process to ensure that the Power Tuning calibrations maximized power while maintaining safe operating temperatures and legal emissions levels. The new programs are available exclusively in Power Programmers and HyperPAC performance automotive computers as follows:

In addition to 3-Sage Power Tuning, Ford applications also allow users to firm up automatic transmission shifts and to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) from the onboard computer. GM applications add an adjustable top speed limiter for speed-rated tires and allow recalibration of the speedometer and odometer for non-stock tire sizes (26 to 36-inch diameter) and rearend gear ratios (3.23:1 to 4.10:1). The powerful HyperPAC performance automotive computer also offers informative Drag Strip, Dynamometer, and Gauge displays with a touch-screen interface.
