New Hypertech Tuning for 2007 Ford Power Stroke Adds 115 Horsepower and 200 ft./lbs. Torque

As soon as Hypertech's engineering team confirmed that their new Power Tuning calibrations for 2007 Ford F-250/F-350 trucks with 6.0-liter Power Stroke engines delivered impressive emissions-legal power gains with maximum safety, they released two new part numbers: 41047 Power Programmer and 84008 HyperPAC.

Bartlett, Tenn. (PRWEB) September 9, 2006 -- Ford's new 2007 Power Stroke turbo diesels had scarcely arrived in dealer showrooms before they were running on Hypertech's computerized dynamometers and racking up miles in long-distance road tests.

How impressive? Up to 115 horsepower and an incredible 200 ft./lbs. of torque over stock tuning.

Hypertech's engineers and technicians have once again developed the most powerful street-legal tuning program available for this application. With Hypertech’s exclusive 3-Stage Tuning, the new Power Tuning calibrations can be used at the maximum power setting while towing up to the maximum weight rating specified by the manufacturer. In contrast, competitors’ diesel tuning devices either cannot be used for towing or require drastically reduced gross vehicle weights.

Both the Hypertech Power Programmer and HyperPAC performance automotive computer contain calibrations for three stages of Power Tuning for 2007 Power Stroke diesels: Stage 1 (+37 hp, +64 ft./lbs.), Stage 2 (+80 hp, +131 ft./lbs.) and Stage 3 (+115 hp, +200 ft./lbs.). With more power in reserve and less frequent downshifts, many diesel owners report significant improvements in fuel mileage.

The Power Programmer and HyperPAC for Ford Power Stroke diesels also allow owners to adjust automatic transmission shift firmness. Hypertech’s sophisticated torque management feature protects the transmission during gear changes, further enhancing reliability under demanding conditions.

Both devices read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) logged in the onboard factory computer. The powerful HyperPAC performance automotive computer also includes Drag Strip, Dynamometer, Gauges and Diagnostics functions. Available plug-in modules further extend the HyperPAC's capabilities.

Founded in 1986, Hypertech is the world leader in high-performance engine tuning products for computer-controlled vehicles. Information on the complete line of Hypertech Power Tuning products is available from Hypertech, 3215 Appling Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133, phone 901-382-8888, at the company’s websites, www.hypertech.com and www.hyperpac.com.
