Florida litigation attorney Kenneth W. Sukhia (Ken Sukhia) ranks among the top 5% of attorneys in Florida, according to the most recent rating by Law & Politics magazine.

About Ken Sukhia

Prior to founding Conwell Sukhia & Kirkpatrick P.A., Mr. Sukhia was instrumental in building the Tallahassee litigation department at Fowler White Boggs Banker, the fourth largest firm in Florida. Mr. Sukhia has been retained in a number of high profile cases, most notably as sole trial and appellate counsel for George W. Bush and Richard Cheney in the absentee ballot case of Harris v. Bush,    F.3d    (11th Cir. Dec. 11, 2000) and as trial counsel in the military ballot case of George W. Bush and Richard Cheney v. Election Canvassing Boards of Florida, Case No. 3:00-cv-533 (N.D. Fla. Dec. 8, 2000).

Ken Sukhia served as the United States Attorney for North Florida from 1990 to 1993, and as an assistant United States Attorney from 1980 to 1990. Based on U.S. Department of Justice statistics, Mr. Sukhia ran one of the most productive U.S. Attorney’s offices in the country. He began his career as a law clerk to Judge Joseph W. Hatchett Jr. at both the Florida Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit. From 1993 to 2005, he was a partner in Fowler White’s Tallahassee office, where he oversaw a successful commercial litigation practice.

Ken Sukhia has served as counsel to President George W. Bush, Governor Jeb Bush, Attorney General Charlie Crist, the Florida Senate and Presidential candidate Ralph Nader. Mr. Sukhia has handled over 80 trials and 100 state and federal appeals on a variety of complex civil and criminal issues.
