Gaitan has enjoyed a distinguished sales and marketing management career. Prior to Nationwide Insurance, Gaitan was a senior manager at Allstate Insurance where he helped launch and lead the most successful Hispanic marketing program in the insurance industry’s history.

Gaitan created market expansion programs at Allstate Insurance by using cutting-edge Internet-based lead sourcing programs, targeting models and event triggers. Gaitan is additionally well versed and skilled in market research, direct mail campaigns, and financial management.

Gaitan holds a B.A. degree from Carthage College, an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and a Certificate in Direct Mail from DePaul University. At Lake Forest, Gaitan won the "Wright Cup" for Marketing and at Carthage College he was chosen as a Wingspread fellow.

Gaitan is a member of the Direct Marketing Association, has spoken at DMA conferences and been quoted in numerous newspapers for his expertise on marketing, including the Chicago Tribune and the San Francisco Chronicle.
