Early Bird Registration Deadline for Folk Alliance 2007 conference has been extended and the first wave of invited showcase artists come from all over the world.

As a result of many of our members still finishing up their summer season, we have extended the "earlybird" registration for the 2007 International Folk Alliance Conference to Friday, September 25. The first wave of invited showcase artists come from the entire spectrum of folk music.

Memphis, Tenn. (PRWEB) September 15, 2006 -- Folk Alliance Early Bird Registration for the international conference has been extended. To receive the Earlybird Rate registrations must be postmarked or paid through Paypal by September 25 to qualify for the lowest price. The conference will be held in Memphis, Tenn. February 21-25, 2007. Go to Folk.org to register and download forms.

The first wave of showcase invites have been sent out ... but not the last. Showcase entry is still open and the deadline is October 20, 2006. If you have or will be applying for a showcase, the earlybird registration rate will be extended for you until a final decision is made.

With more than 2,000 attendees, the conference offers a complete view of the business world of traditional and contemporary folk music and dance through 150 showcases drawn from every possible genre of folk, as well as films, workshops, and a networking-rich tradeshow. The business conference will be held at the Memphis Convention Center and Memphis Marriott Downtown February 21-25, 2007.
