hfa Earns Prestigious NYC Creative Awards
Akron, Ohio, agency receives awards for excellence in business-to-business marketing communications.
Akron, OH (PRWEB) September 16, 2006 -– Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc. (hfa), a full-service marketing communications agency in Akron, Ohio, earned a slice of Big Apple fame by winning three 2006 ACE Awards from the New York City Business Marketing Association (BMA/NYC).
These awards for work hfa produced for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company include a first place for a Modern Tire Dealer single-sponsor issue, second place for the “One Company” trade ad and third place for the “Wrangler® SilentArmor™” video.
The ACE Awards celebrate creative excellence in business-to-business (B-to-B) marketing communications, and garner award entries from agencies, publishers and marketers nationwide. According to Ned Clausen, president of BMA/NYC, competition among entries was even more challenging this year because BMA/NYC received three times the amount of entries compared to past years.
“There’s truth to the saying that if your work can win in New York it can win anywhere, because in the ACE Awards you’re competing against heavyweight national agency brands. So it’s gratifying to come out a winner,” said Nick Betro, vice president/executive creative director of hfa. “And because BMA Awards are judged on creativity and results, it further quantifies that hfa’s creative thinking and strategic direction are right on target.”
hfa’s winning work will be featured in a number of areas, including the Web sites of the National BMA and BMA of New York City, as well as several B-to-B marketing publications.
Winners of ACE Awards are selected by a panel of distinguished judges from agencies, media companies and marketers.
