Jubilee “A Mortgage Pay-off Celebration”
RCCG Jesus House D.C. Pays off $2.2 Million mortgage in less than 5 years. Jesus House, D.C. is an immigrant church in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, MD in Montgomery County.
Silver Spring, MD (PRWEB) September 16, 2006 -- It is with great delight that The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, D.C. extends this invitation to you to join us for a very special occasion – Jubilee “A Mortgage Pay-off Celebration”, on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. The service will be held at Jesus House, D.C., 919/921 Philadelphia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
Jesus House, D.C., a mission of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, headquartered in Nigeria, was established in Washington, D.C. in 1995. The Redeemed Christian Church has over 5000 parishes around the world and about 300 of them are in the North America region. Our vision at Jesus House, D.C. is to restore hope and maximize potentials in our surrounding communities. We currently have a membership of over 1300 parishioners (mostly Immigrants), most of whom are professionals and business owners and are actively involved in meeting needs in our community at different levels.
The event is a testament of what God is doing in our church. In 1999, with a membership of about 500 parishioners, we acquired a 30-year construction loan of $2.2 million to build a 1000–seater sanctuary. This sanctuary was completed in 2001, and we moved in the same year. To the glory of God, we have now paid-off this mortgage in less than 5 years.
Please join us for this joyous event as we celebrate the blessings and favor of God over our ministry. We hope you will honor our invitation as we look forward to having you here.
