Seaforth Marine Group and Morgan Motor Co. Offer Unique Combination of Sea and Land Luxury Classics

Seaforth's Northport 58' and Morgan's Roadster Sports Car Both Combine Traditional Style with Advanced Technology. A Designer Signature Series.

Vancouver, British Columbia (PRWEB) September 21, 2006 -- Seaforth Marine Group Inc and the Morgan Motor Co. offer discriminating sea and land travellers a unique opportunity to acquire two thoroughly modern, but completely handmade transportation classics. A designer signature series.

Seaforth's Mike Harling-designed Northport 58' updates the elegant "picnic boat" of the 1920s and 30s with advanced construction materials while retaining the richness of their wood and leather high end interiors. The Morgan Roadster on offer is a special edition of the classic two-seater from the UK's legendary Morgan Motor Co., the world's oldest car manufacturing company still owned by descendants of the founder. Together, they allow owners to make a unique statement about the value of timeless design.

Together they offer a seamless experience that lets owners move from accelerator to throttle without missing a single, exhilarating step.
The Northport '58 and special edition Morgan Roadster share a striking royal blue and tan colour scheme as well as the hand-crafted quality of a bygone era. They also embody a common heritage that combines style with speed. The nimble Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds - and the sleek Northport 58' is expected to be able to easily top 30 knots.

"The pairing will appeal to those who demand style with substance - and panache with practicality," says David James. "Together they offer a seamless experience that lets owners move from accelerator to throttle without missing a single, exhilarating step."

Northport 58': Coast, Lake and River
The cold-molded Northport 58' hull has a cedar core and mahogany skin sheathed with Kevlar and s/glass and sealed with epoxy resin for superior strength and longevity with shimmering beauty and minimal maintenance. A deep-footed prow slices cleanly for minimum resistance and a shallow four-foot prop draft makes it possible to moor almost anywhere and explore less accessible waterways.

With two berths, a master forward and guest aft, the Northport is ideal for weekend jaunts along the coast, up the rivers or across the lake. Fore and aft cockpits let passengers feel the wind in their hair and an enclosed wheelhouse makes for comfortable year round skippering. Power packages - from twin 800 hp to twin 1300 MAN diesels assure more than ample power to make the most of precious water time.

Morgan Roadster: the Truly Modern Sports Car
The eclectic fusion of the Morgan's traditional coach building techniques and futuristic engine technology guarantees a pleasure of ownership that is simply unavailable in any other car. Light and agile, the Morgan Roadster is also very powerful, with a 223Bhp 3.0 litre V6 engine that delivers a top speed of 134 mph. The hand-tooled wood and leather interior exudes the painstaking craftsmanship by which Morgans are known - and for which they are celebrated. With a low centre of gravity and nearly perfect weight distribution, the Roadster has outstanding balance and poise, allowing the owner to truly appreciate what it's like to be in full control of a modern sports car.
