A Relentlessly Positive Idea
An innovative new website has been launched to provide an antidote to the growing tide of negativity and bad news in the media.
(PRWEB) September 23, 2006 -- An innovative new website has been launched to provide an antidote to the growing tide of negativity and bad news in the media.
www.relentlessly-positive.com is a website dedicated to feeling good. In place of the drip feed of diets and anti-cellulite creams, there are features about maximising your health, optimising your wealth, and increasing your happiness levels.
The website was created by ex-health and beauty writer Sarah Clark, after she became increasingly tired of reading critical and negative stories in her favourite magazines. She said;
“I have been a complete magazine addict for many years, and until recently I’ve really enjoyed my habit. As a journalist, I justified my excessive spending on magazines and newspapers by claiming that it was for research! Recently I’ve been feeling a vague sense of unhappiness after reading my old favourites though. I’d put them down and feel as if something wasn’t right -- I should go on a diet immediately or perhaps spend some money on a cream to sort out my complexion.
As for celebrity gossip magazines, they just made me angry. I’m not quite sure what they think they are going to achieve by printing pictures of celebrity cellulite, sweat patches and tummy overhang -- but they don’t make me feel any better about my own imperfections!”
Within days of launch, Relentlessly Positive had clocked up over 1000 hits, and the response to the launch has been overwhelmingly positive. Guest contributors include TV personalities, health professionals, well respected journalists and life coaches.
