Human Capital Institute Announces Kathryn Cramer and Hank Wasiak to Present at 2007 Summit

The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator in talent management strategies, announced today that Kathryn Cramer, originator of Asset-based Thinking (AbT) and founder of The Cramer Institute, and Hank Wasiak, Co-founder of The Concept Farm, an idea generator and advertising firm, will be keynote speakers at HCI's 2007 National Human Capital Summit, to be held in Phoenix March 19-21.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB / PRWEB) January 12, 2007 -- The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator in talent management strategies, announced today that Kathryn Cramer, originator of Asset-based Thinking (AbT) and founder of The Cramer Institute, and Hank Wasiak, Co-founder of The Concept Farm, an idea generator and advertising firm, will be keynote speakers at HCI's 2007 National Human Capital Summit, to be held in Phoenix March 19-21.

Day two of the Summit, Cramer and Wasiak will deliver the Innovation Keynote: "Change the Way You See Everything - Capitalizing on Asset-Based Thinking."

HCI is extremely pleased that 2007 Summit attendees will have the opportunity to hear Kathy Cramer and Hank Wasiak speak about Asset-based Thinking.
The presentation, based on the bestselling book "Change the Way You See Everything: Through Asset-Based Thinking" written by Cramer and Wasiak, will explore Asset-based Thinking (AbT), which involves focusing on what's right to create breakthrough innovation.

Kathryn Cramer, originator of what is being called the most powerful business concept of the knowledge era, will show how human capital professionals can find and mine assets in themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Hank Wasiak, a communications icon and founder of one of today's hottest creative development companies, will explain how top firms apply AbT to spark creative thinking and innovation.

Cramer is Founder and Managing Partner of The Cramer Institute, a firm specializing in organization change consulting. She and her colleagues are known for developing and bringing to life a revolutionary and refreshingly simply concept called Asset-based Thinking (AbT), a practical approach to taking the positive side of life's ledger and using it to full advantage in everything a person does. Asset-based Thinking calls for small shifts in the way people absorb, perceive, filter, and interpret information. It changes the way people see everything, leading to dramatic improvements in the way they live and work. Under Cramer's leadership, organizations like Monsanto, DuPont, Peabody Energy, Deloitte & Touche, MasterCard International, Starbucks, Maritz, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and the US Air Force have adopted Asset-based Thinking and leadership approaches to developing their leaders and managing change.

Kathryn Cramer is a certified Power and Presence facilitator and executive coach and experienced consultant. In addition to "Change the Way You See Everything," she has written three other books. She has also produced two films on stress, one of which won an Emmy. Dr. Cramer is a licensed psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association. She holds a Doctorate in psychology from St. Louis University and a Master's degree in psychology from De Paul University.

Hank Wasiak personifies today's Renaissance man. An Emmy award winning TV host and actor, bestselling author, entrepreneur, teacher, and Reiki Master, Wasiak's impressive resume of advertising experience includes working with the corporate elite of global business. At age 26, he was the youngest Vice President of Doyle Dane Bernbach, he then became President of Ketchum Communications at 32, was Divisional President of Brown Forman at 36, and retired as Vice Chairman of McCann Erickson WorldGroup, the world's largest communications company, to co-found The Concept Farm, a leading multiplatform marketing communications agency in New York City.

In addition to his work with The Concept Farm's clients, Wasiak is Executive Producer and segment host of the company's Emmy award winning weekly television series "Cool in Your Code," which explores what's cool, new, undiscovered, and different throughout New York City's 200-plus zip codes.

Hank Wasiak earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Pace University, an MBA in Marketing from the Baruch School of Business, has held an Assistant Professorship at Pace University, and has taught at Eckerd College, the University of South Florida, Bellarmine University, and the University of Louisville.

"'Change the Way You See Everything' is one of the most exciting business books to come along in years," said Allan Schweyer, HCI's President and Executive Director. "HCI is extremely pleased that 2007 Summit attendees will have the opportunity to hear Kathy Cramer and Hank Wasiak speak about Asset-based Thinking."
