Sexy Valentines Day Skin Detox from New York Yoga Retreat Center

Surprise your Valentine with a luxurious skin detox for two.

(PRWEB) February 9, 2007 -- Valentine's Day is a time for lovers and there is no doubt that love gives the skin a wonderful glow. Men and women face dryer skin in the winter and this Valentine's recipe will get rid of the winter blahs and bring on the glow. It's perfect for a sexy and healthy Valentine's Day shower for two.

Pamper your beloved this Valentine's Day with a super- decadent skin detox recipe from the American Yogini yoga retreat center in New York.

Natural homemade skin remedies are as good as it gets
"Natural homemade skin remedies are as good as it gets," says Mary McGuire-Wien, who offers yoga retreats at her New York estate. "This Valentine's Day recipe is made with cranberries, to give it a luscious Valentine's crimson color. It contains a unique enzyme that gives you the added benefit of a naturally longer shelf life than most freshly made products, so it will last 2 months in the refrigerator. You can make it days ahead of your romantic shower for two so you can give your love your full attention on the day. The essential oils have known aphrodisiac effects; the sugar smoothes and sweetens the skin, and the sweet almond oil will make you and your beloved irresistibly soft and fragrant and ready for love."

Valentines Skin Food for Two

1 cup fresh cranberries
1 1/2 cups organic sugar
1/2 cup sweet almond oil
One scraped and finely chopped vanilla bean
15 drops jasmine essential oil
5 drops rose essential oil

Crush cranberries in food processor until fine; add sweet almond oil, vanilla infusion and Pour into large bowl and add sugar, mix well and put into jars. You can decorate the jars with pretty labels or ribbon to give as gifts Store them, refrigerated for up to two months.

Directions: Use it in the shower instead of soap. And there's no need to use a lotion after the shower--it will make the skin velvety smooth and irresistibly soft.

Valentine's Day gift tip: Put the detox cream into a beautiful jar, wrap it by hand and attach a bow, "For the final romantic touch add a sexy love note or Rumi Poem printed out on your computer in a flowing font," adds McGuire.
