MusicMatters Magazine Serves The Spice
Pepper Featured on Cover of March/April Issue.
(PRWEB) March 9, 2007 -- Their hit song "No Control" is all over the airwaves, the video has been picked up by MTVu and now the band Pepper will be the featured cover story in the latest issue of Music Matters Magazine. "Although the members of Pepper are hyper and playful, they take their music very seriously," says Music Matters editor Jen Hilbert who interviewed the band for the story.
The story, which is in a Q&A format, discusses the band's most recent album, 'No Shame,' and how they've managed to keep control of the artistic direction of the record after signing with a major label. "The band is really committed to keeping the music their own and that really comes out in the story," Hilbert says.
The band also talks about working with a variety of producers, including members of 311 and No Doubt as well as the recent success of the album.
Besides the cover story on Pepper, the March/April edition of the magazine has articles on This Holiday Life, Earthless, L.A. Slumlords, Public Enemy, InTheVisualz, and local music performance film company Reelin' in the Years.
