Aurience and Apogee Announce Global Collaboration Promoting Performance Arts through Electronic Media

Aurience Limited and The Apogee Foundation today announced that they will jointly create live and electronic productions to develop and promote artistic excellence around the world.

London, Los Angeles and New York (PRWEB) May 2, 2007 - Aurience Limited, a London based media & technology group, and The Apogee Foundation, a New York based performing arts charity, have announced that they will partner in developing and promoting excellence in the performing arts through film and television, interactive technologies, recorded media and live event productions.

The two organizations, both of which have particular strengths in East-West relations and operations, will share personnel, know-how and proprietary programs to develop new synergies between the power of performance art and the penetration of electronic media. Jointly branded Apogee-Aurience productions will focus on developing new levels of appreciation for, and participation in, the life and work of elite performing artists around the globe.

Aurience is premised on the belief that media & technology can inspire new ways of living and, through this, create new forms of value. In furtherance of this vision, the firm will provide consulting, production and distribution services in these industries to further Apogee's mission of identifying, developing and promoting the world's most gifted performing artists.

Working together, the two organizations will seek to inspire new awareness of, and to create new markets for, excellence in the performance arts by interfusing this with excellence in the electronic arts. Productions will include reality and documentary coverage of Apogee's integrated awards, training and performance events taking place in Europe and Asia.

Camran Shafii, Apogee's Senior Vice President in charge of the Foundation's interface with the media & technology industries, said "This is an historic opportunity to bring together two trailblazing organizations working in naturally synergistic fields to achieve transformations in both."

Aurience CEO Kenneth Schneider, also now serving as President of the Foundation, said "Apogee's objective is to `recreate the future of human creativity', and over the past decade it has built a marvelous record of innovation in fulfilling this aim. Aurience is delighted to have the opportunity to assist in further advancing this history."
