(PRWEB) May 2, 2007 -- Join Lupus International for Savor the Night at the Summit House Restaurant located at 2000 East Bastanchury Road, Fullerton, CA 92835, on Thursday, May 3rd at 7 pm.

This special evening is destined to thrill all of your five senses with wine tasting, a menu that will seduce your taste buds, and a silent auction featuring world renowned artists from across the globe. From watercolor to oil, and realistic to abstract, Lupus International is pleased to highlight an extensive variety of artists working and living in the United Kingdom and Hawaii. These talented artisans have generously contributed original artwork and limited edition prints for the event including:

Tony Todd, who has spent many years working with agencies, studios and publishers in the UK. Well over 400 of his paintings have been used for Christmas greeting cards, calendars and book covers worldwide. Recent commissions include a series of watercolors for Sir Emmanual and Lady Elizabeth Kaye and a watercolor commissioned for the Queen and Prince Philip for their Golden Wedding anniversary. Steve Greaves, a versatile painter, uses a variety of mediums and styles to create landscapes and street scenes. Walfrido Garcia has shown his surrealistic paintings of Hawaii along side the Wyland at the Livingston Galleries. John Pitre, is a master of fantasy and surrealism. He has been a significant influence in the art world for over thirty years, and carries the distinction of being one of the most widely published artists in modern history. Annie Taylor works in oil or acrylic on canvas, using strong color, her work conveys her reaction to the drama of the natural world and the environmental challenges we now face. Jane Cartney, a Scottish artist who specializes in oil painting and digital artwork prints. Jamie Summers, the creator of PupArt , a groovy pet and people portrait company.

Tom Henderson Smith, a contemporary artist based in the far west of Cornwall, England. He uses acrylic on canvas and charcoal on paper to represent themes that arise out of the dramatic Cornish coastal landscape. Michael Kearsey, a full time artist who uses watercolor to capture in detail, landscape, seascape and still life. Stuart Haden's black and white photographs capture the ordinary and everyday scenes most of us usually take for granted. Jo Pryor loves color, pattern and soft curvy shapes. Her paintings are often of bold buxom women resting on a bed of cushions or sitting beneath the tress in a wood. Elle Wilson, at the age of 14 she began painting dog and cat portraits for teachers at school as part of a mini business venture and it just carried on from there. Today, she is proud to participate in charities many of whom are associated with Greyhound and animal rescue. Tracy Manning's, style is reminiscent of the impressionists. She often uses nature and animals as her main subject matter. And finally, realist painter, Darren Baker whose paintings hang in private and public collections, including Downing St. and St. James Palace.

Wines featured at the event are Rio Seco, Stacked Stone, Rodney Strong, Turnbull, Fosters, Rutherford, Dobbin Lane, Clos Du Val, Moet, Beam, Pine Ridge, St. Michelle and water provided by Evian.

Feed your artistic senses, and spend an exciting evening of fine wine and the arts. Online pre-sale tickets are $50 per person or bring along a friend for $90 a pair. All proceeds will support programs, research, and services for lupus patients and their families.
