Fight Festival in Tulsa
Multi-discipline fight festival featuring Professional Boxing, Maui Thai Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) being held at the Expo Square Pavilion in Tulsa, OK, on Saturday August 4, 2007
Tulsa, OK, July 25, 2007 -- Lion Heart Boxing Productions proudly announces K.O. King's Court, a major fight festival to be held Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Expo Square Pavilion, the place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Real Entertainment, Real Events and Real Excitement happens. The Fight Festival will be a highlight of the current major fight disciplines in the United States Professional Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts and Maui Thai Kickboxing.
In the Boxing segment of the festival, current NABC Welterweight Champion, Former WBO Latin America Junior Welterweight Champion, Brazilian Light Welterweight Champion and former WBO Number Two Ranked Welterweight Antonio Mesquita (34-0) who will go for his twenty-eighth knockout against Joshua Smith, a durable and tough-as-nails journeyman.
In the co-main event, MMA and UFC legend Patrick Smith (5-7), originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, tries his hand at boxing by taking on 6'6" giant Grant Cudjoe (12-3) of Brooklyn, New York.
On the undercard will be New Orleans Heavyweight Prospect Frederic "Big Fred" Kassi (11-0) against Fort Smith, Arkansas' Steve Llewallan (4-2), as well as several local (Tulsa and surrounding areas) fighters such as George Tahdooahnippah (7-0) of Lawton, OK, Tyrel Brown (2-0) of Tulsa, Will Grover (3-0) of Springfield, MO, and Dustin Morrision (3-0) of Tahlaquah, OK, all against opponents to be announced.
The MMA portion of the festival will feature cross-state competition between Team Hard Core, a team of five fighters from Boise, Idaho and lead by Brandon Shuey of USA MMA against a Tulsa All-Star MMA team led by Tulsa MMA standout and great Mickey Burnett.
Also, on the card will be four Maui Thai bouts with participants to be announced.

Tickets are reasonably priced at $50.00 for Ringside, $30 for Floor Seats and $20 for General Admission. A $5 discount is given to children (twelve and under), seniors, students and men in uniform (Ppolice, firemen, EMT and all military -- Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard, Coast Guard, etc) with a valid ID.
