Revelations for Modern Times

While many Christians bridled at the Vatican's recent statement reaffirming their view that the Catholic Church is the one true church and other Christian bodies shouldn't be called churches, there are many who believe that all Christian churches have it wrong. Students of "A Course in Miracles" believe that Jesus has appeared again to humanity in the pages of "A Course in Miracles" to frame his ancient message for contemporary ears.

Sedona, AZ (PRWEB) August 10, 2007 -- Circle of Atonement dedicated to A Course in Miracles announces a free weekly email newsletter, Q & A, to support students of "A Course in Miracles" by answering their questions and helping all who are interested to better understand the message of healing Jesus originally intended.
Subscribers to Q & A may ask questions about theory, interpretation, practice, and application of "A Course in Miracles." Q & A is archived at the website so that students may scan a list of previously answered questions, to see if their question has already been covered. The Circle's goal is to create a growing database of answers to Course questions, which can be accessed by anyone at any time.

There are two types of Q & A's on the Circle's Q & A page. The first type is "short Q & A's," which are "short and sweet" answers that run anywhere from a few paragraphs to a page or two. These are written by Greg Mackie and Robert Perry. Currently one new short Q & A is posted on the page per week. These are the Q & A's subscribers receive in their e-mail boxes each week.

The second type is "long Q & A's," which are longer essays answering Course questions in more detail. These were written by Greg Mackie. No new ones are being written at present, but there are many posted on the Circle's Q & A page, sorted by category. A selection of these long Q & A's has also been compiled into a book by Greg Mackie entitled "How Can We Forgive Murderers? And Other Answers to Questions about 'A Course in Miracles.'"

Subscribers to Q & A really appreciate the personal attention from two of the most respected teachers of "A Course in Miracles."

"I'm overwhelmed by your response. It is so well-written, and I greatly appreciate your caring, concern and generosity in writing such a comprehensive answer [to my question .... This was truly a breath of fresh air, and I feel that I can now continue to study the Course with a greater comfort level and understanding," wrote subscriber Barbara Corbin.

Another subscriber found a virtue in brevity. "I like your work because it addresses questions that I know I've wondered about .... And such a miracle, your answers are thoughtful, logical, clear and -- short!" exclaims Gloria Stowers.

One can never tell where the Q & A's might turn up. "I found that the 'tips' you gave at the end [of your answer to be very helpful and I printed them and stuck them on my bathroom mirror," Vinnie Guglielmo wrote.

Circle of Atonement was established in 1993 by Robert Perry, who left Miracle Distribution Center in Southern California to start a Course center in Arizona that would help students with every aspect of the Course, with the teaching, with the practice and with Course-based healing. Perry is the author of many books and articles about "A Course in Miracles." He also writes the newsletter, "A Better Way." Greg Mackie joined the Circle in 1997 as a teacher and writer. Greg also authors the "Course Meets World Commentary," relating ACIM teachings to current events.
