Danceafreaka® -- The UK's First African Dance Workout DVD

Danceafreaka® is a new and fun workout that uses traditional African dance to improve: weight loss, flexibility, and fitness. Uniquely, it incorporates aspects of dances from different parts of Africa emphasizing their aerobic and muscle strengthening qualities. This general level workout is now available on DVD.

London, UK (PRWEB) January 3, 2007 -- Danceafreaka®, the latest fitness craze, is a fun new concept mixing traditional African dance with aerobic exercise, to create a fun, unique and exhilarating way of getting in shape. Danceafreaka® was founded by Ancestral Hands LTD in May 2006, Kwaku A. Mensah, the company's Business Director revealed "we'd thought of Danceafreaka® a number of years ago. We knew that a lot of people saw getting fit as a chore and we wanted to inject the fun back into fitness though African dance."

Danceafreaka® classes are already proving a huge hit in Fitness First gyms across London. John Ballaman of Fitness First has received lots of positive feedback about the classes and states "African dance is excellent for fitness as it involves working your whole body… the classes are very popular."

we believe that African dance can be easily as beautiful, technical or graceful as ballet and definitely as fun and aerobic as salsa or samba.
The new groundbreaking DVD will allow people to experience African dance fitness in their own homes. Respected choreographer Kofi Dennis Adorsoo, takes you through the "Kloga" routine backed by energetic, live drumming. Adorsoo will guide DVD users through the moves in an intense practice section then users will perform the specially created dance routine.

The choreography of this fun dance workout has received exceptional praise, as it has been carefully designed to improve fitness levels, increase flexibility and weight loss.

As the UK's first African dance workout, this DVD is set to revolutionize dance fitness. Mensah states "we believe that African dance can be easily as beautiful, technical or graceful as ballet and definitely as fun and aerobic as salsa or samba."
