Educator Explores Innovative Options to Establish Home and School Responsibility for Children with Difficult Challenges

David Willson's Uncommon Sense, Children and School offers out-of-the-box solutions for schools and caregivers working together to help children succeed.

Kodiak, AK (PRWEB) January 19, 2007 -- Uncommon Sense, Children and School, by David Willson is the first in a series of upcoming Uncommon Sense titles being developed to offer creative and practical strategies to better our world and the world of our children. Focusing on schools and children experiencing difficult challenges, Willson encourages teachers and parents to look at nontraditional solutions.

Author David Willson, who has worked with children in residential, psychiatric, and school settings calls for a fresh approach in his innovative book, Uncommon Sense, Children and School. Divided into three sections, the book addresses the unique needs and concerns of teachers, parents and school systems when dealing with so-called "difficult" children and children with special needs.

Written in a diary-like format in clear, conversational prose, the book also includes blank pages so the reader can jot down notes and embark upon a journey of personal growth if so desired. Innovative and exciting, Uncommon Sense is an uncommon opportunity to better our world.

"Clearly and supportively written, this book offers a wealth of exciting new opportunities for improvement in our schools. Whether you are a teacher, a parent, or someone who works in a school, this innovative book will gently nudge the reader into thinking differently. Uncommon Sense is uncommonly good." -Ellen Tanner Marsh, New York Times best-selling author.

Uncommon Sense, Children and School is available for sale online at Amazon.com, Borders.com, and through additional wholesale and retail channels worldwide.
