The Bible can now be downloaded from most major online digital music retail stores in languages that are spoken by the majority of the world’s population. Digital music giant The Orchard and Audio Bible recording experts Faith Comes By Hearing are partnering together to offer the Bible in 164 different languages, making Scriptures accessible to people all over the globe in a format that meets the needs and desires of today’s oral communicators.

For the first time consumers will be able to download Audio Bibles from a larger variety of options than ever before. In January, Audio Scriptures can be downloaded in 164 different languages giving the majority of the world's population access to a digital Bible translation in their own language. Through a fund effort called the Global Scripture Fund, ABS will match contributions so that Faith Comes By Hearing may record and distribute Audio Bibles in the mother tongue among the poorest regions of the world.
