Winner Announced in 2nd Annual Style Stars Global Hair Contest
$150,000 in cash & prizes awarded to the new Style Star.
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) October 1, 2007 -- With a second successful year coming to a close, the Style Stars Global Hair Competition for 2007 has found its end in Canada. Sean Yoell, of Accents Hair Studio, in Ontario, Canada has claimed this year's title of "hair idol".
The theme for this year's competition was somewhat of a departure from last year, where stylists were urged to create styles with wave and texture. This year possibilities were limitless. Stylists could showcase their hairstyles in a variety of shapes, styles, and colors. 2007's Contest winner, Sean Yoell, broke the 2006 mold with his short, edgy cut and an innovative color technique.
Breaking the mold proved to be beneficial in Sean's case. He will not only travel from Ontario to the tropics of Puerto Rico for a beach side photo shoot, he will also be awarded his $150,000 prize package, which includes:
o Caribbean Dream Photo Shoot by renowned photographer, Tom Carson
o Publication in HAIR'S HOW! Magazine
o $5,000 in cash
o Great Lengths Extension training
o Publication in Modern Salon Magazine

Sean Yoell and his hair model will be flown to Puerto Rico for a four-day stay at Lucia Beach Villas near Yabucoa. Activities there will include several hair styling sessions and photo shoots by renowned fashion photographer Tom Carson. The resulting photo spread, to be entitled "Caribbean Dreams", will be published in top hair and fashion magazines, helping to advance the winning hair artist's career.
