Michael Sciara Joins JRS Architect, P.C. as Project Manager on Long Island

Michael Sciara, a recently licensed architect with several awards, has joined the rapidly growing architecture firm, JRS Architect, P.C. as a project manager in its corporate headquarters on Long Island,

Mineola, NY (PRWEB) October 15, 2007 -- Michael Sciara joined JRS Architect, P.C. as a project manager in the firm's Mineola corporate headquarters.

Sciara, who recently received his architect's license from New York State and won architectural competition prizes while a student, has experience managing commercial, educational, healthcare and church projects. He also serves as an adjunct professor of architecture at Farmingdale State College.

He also has worked for Anthony S. DiProperzio Architects; Mineola, NY; Baldassano Architectural Group, P.C, Ronkonkoma, NY, and The Thomas Group, P.C., in Farmingdale.

Sciara received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2002 from the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury. He obtained a Master of Architecture with a specialty in urban and regional design from NYIT in 2003.

As an undergraduate, Sciara won second place in a sustainable design competition sponsored by the Cherry Tree Association in the South Bronx and won second place in the Michael H. Spector Community Design Competition for an infrastructure revitalization project in Port Washington, NY.

Sciara, who lives in Mineola with his wife, Heather, and their 14-month-old son, Matthew, enjoys baseball, basketball, football and travel. He teaches bible study at the Vineyard Church in Rockville Centre, NY.
