Through Portcard.net's proprietary system, children and others get into the safety habit of " carding " friends on the Internet, using their membership as a security tool, much like using a seat belt in a car. In a matter of minutes, children and their parents can check to see if these new friends have an authenticated identity stored at Portcard.net.
"Portcard.net's software and user interface is designed to allow a person or family to list all the social network sites they visit so that they only need a single registration for the Internet," said Paul Loeb, Portcard.net's chief software designer.
