Recording Artist, LoRene` Announces Today a Portion of Album Proceeds to go to American Red Cross

Victims, firefighters, volunteers, the troops and their families receive honor and recognition in the form of a songs and album written by recording artist, Lo Rene`. Some of the proceeds from the album will go to the American Red Cross.

(PRWEB) October 26, 2007 -- Recording artist Lo Rene`, co author of "Music Business: It's All About Music Right?", has announced today that her latest project titled "Lola-palooza" was written as a tribute not only to NYC, the firefighters and volunteers but also to the troops and heroes of today. The songs titled "War For Peace," "Miss Liberty" and "Spread your Wings" were written following the Sept. 11 tragedy. Lo Rene`, having just left New York a few days before, was watching the news when she saw the neighborhood where she had rented an apartment the week before. "The news was devastating and out of the shock of the day came these songs. As I sat at my keyboard in tears, I just thought of New York and the neighbors that I had left behind, that is how the songs originated," said LoRene` The song "War For Peace" is nestled in an album with many other tribute songs. The album itself is a tribute to her late grandparents.

"Often we tend to forget about the people who are left to pick up the pieces, the people who have either fallen victim to the disaster or have been effected by the loss of loved ones. It is our job not to forget but to help the people who are struggling from these kind of tragedies such as, Katrina victims, victims of the California fires, families of war heroes and the troops themselves that are over in the middle of the battle. We need to honor our troops and help the people left behind, hopefully this album will do just that," stated Lo Rene`.

The album can be bought online or in stores worldwide and has received quite a bit of recognition as The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Committee has placed six of Lo Rene`s songs in 8 categories on the Official Ballot for the 2007 Grammy Awards.

Part of the proceeds of the album will go to the American Red Cross.
