Indy Racing League and Voxant Team Up to Provide Racing Content to Web Communities

Free fully licensed videos available to Web publishers and bloggers.

Reston, Virginia (PRWEB) October 31, 2007 -- Voxant, the New Media Network, and the Indy Racing League, sanctioning body for the IndyCar® Series and Indy Pro Series(tm), announced today that IndyCar Series and Indy Pro Series content is now available to Websites and blogs through Voxant's Newsroom (voxant.com).

The vast coverage accessible to publishers includes event highlights of IndyCar and Indy Pro Series race practices and qualifying sessions, special events, interviews with drivers, teams and league officials. Past Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series races will be available in the future.

We are also thrilled that our Newsroom will provide the medium allowing licensed IndyCar videos to be available to all the Web sites and blogs that cover auto racing.
Web publishers and bloggers who register with Voxant's Newsroom may obtain free, fully licensed video clips from IndyCar and embed the content to their own Web sites and blogs, expanding the reach of IndyCar content through viral syndication.

"The Indy Racing League gives the Voxant Newsroom first-rate auto racing content, broadening our sports coverage," Voxant CEO, Jeff Crigler said. "We are also thrilled that our Newsroom will provide the medium allowing licensed IndyCar videos to be available to all the Web sites and blogs that cover auto racing."

The Indy Racing League joins an impressive collection of content providers, including the NHL, the AP, BBC World Ltd, CBS News, Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal, which make content available through the Voxant Newsroom, reaching more than 11,500 Web publishers, and generating 23 million advertising impressions in the month of September.

"Fan interactivity with IndyCar Series and Indy Pro Series content is extremely important to the Indy Racing League," said John Lewis, vice president of league development and marketing for the Indy Racing League. "With Voxant, our fans will be able to host pictures, news feeds and videos on their own Websites and profiles in an embeddable player."

Through the Voxant Newsroom (www.voxant.com), licensed content is monetized and syndicated to Web publishers, who embed news assets including video, audio, print, and still images. Voxant shares advertising revenue with content providers and Web publishers.
