Gene Simmons Joins Gangster Big Band Royal Crown Revue at Hard Rock Casino for Family Jewels Filming
Rock legend Gene Simmons of the band KISS will be performing live with big band Royal Crown Revue this coming Friday November 9th, at "The Joint" located in the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas.
(Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) November 8, 2007 -- Rock legend Gene Simmons of the band KISS will be performing live with big band Royal Crown Revue this coming Friday November 9th, at "The Joint" located in the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. The performance featuring Gene Simmons with Royal Crown Revue will be filmed and featured in two upcoming episodes of Simmons's acclaimed Family Jewels television show, now in its third season on A&E.
The Las Vegas show featuring Gene Simmons fronting Royal Crown Revue will take place at Beacher's Madhouse, the world's most talked about variety extravaganza,located in "The Joint" at the famous Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Doors open at 9 a.m., with a red carpet entrance and entertainment set to begin at 10 p.m.
Gangster big band Royal Crown Revue was recently announced as the backing band for Gene Simmons, after several weeks of speculation, following an earlier press release announcing that Gene Simmons would be fronting a mystery band . Simmons and Royal Crown Revue have been rehearsing for the event in an undisclosed location in Los Angeles over the past week.
The Las Vegas show at the Hard Rock Casino with Gene Simmons will be the final West Coast performance for Royal Crown Revue prior to their sold out tour of Australia.
Royal Crown Revue will be performing two East Coast shows before years end, one in Boston on December 12th at Sculler's Jazz Club, and one in New York City December 13th at The Blender Theater at Gramercy.
Royal Crown Revue is currently in the studio recording their version of Elvis's "Blue Christmas", the eagerly anticipated single, which will be released to national radio in early December.
