Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 10, 2007 -- Legendary songwriter Hank Cochran headlines the "All-Stars Night" grand finale of the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival in Perdido Key, FL, Sunday, November 18. Now, for the first time in its history, the 23-year old festival will offer a "live-to-the-world" web-cast of the evening, which will include performances by Cochran, Red Lane, Larry Jon Wilson, Gove Scrivenor and special guests. The five-plus hour show will also give fans access to in-depth interviews and behind-the-scenes, backstage action. The $10 pay-per-view event, captured live in streaming audio and three-camera video, will run on a secured website worldwide, beginning at 4:30 p.m. CST. Sign up information can be found at www.florabama.com.
Known for hits like "I Fall To Pieces," "Make The World Go Away," "Miami My Amy," "Ocean Front Property" and "The Chair," Cochran is a longtime participant and supporter of the festival. "Joe and his crew do an incredible job with this event," says Hank. "They bring in writers from all over; they give us great places to play - and the chance to reconnect with some old friends, too. And they do it all because they love the music."
"We'll let the world have a taste of the festival and experience the music of the South from their living room," says Emmy award-winning Director of Photography Lynn Rabren, whose credentials include two Neil Young videos ("Family & Friends: Live At Red Rocks," "Silver and Gold") and several "60 Minutes" news segments. "This will be an intimate capturing of the 'best of the best' singing their songs and telling their stories." The annual 10-day festival features 250-plus songwriters from November 8 -18 performing in venues throughout the Gulf Shores (AL) and Perdido Key (FL) areas. "This web-cast will give these talented writers great exposure and the respect that they deserve," comments festival founder Joe Gilchrist.
