Alliance Group Entertainment's 'Lake Dead' Cast To Meet and Greet With After Dark Horrorfest Fans
Cast members from Alliance Group Entertainment's Lake Dead will be available for autographs and photos at the Los Angeles After Dark Horrorfest screening.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 9, 2007 -- Los Angeles area fans and attendees of After Dark Horrorfest's "8 Films to Die For" will be in for a treat on Saturday November 10, 2007. Cast members from Alliance Group Entertainment's slasher film "Lake Dead," will be at the Beverly Center Mann's 13 Cinemas from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., signing autographs and giving away replicas of the official movie poster before and after the movie screening.
Lake Dead, which stars Alex A. Quinn, Kelsey Wedeen, Jim Devoti, Kelsey Crane, Vanessa Viola, Pat McNeely, James C. Burns, Malea Richardson and Tara Gerard, tells the story of the Lake sisters, Brielle (Kelsey Crane), Kelli (Kelsey Wedeen) and Sam (Tara Gerard) on a road trip that will change their lives forever. After inheriting a lakeside motel from their long lost grandfather, the sisters embark on a journey to discover their past and preserve their future. Unbeknownst to them, they enter a nightmarish world of brutal torture, murder, incest and necrophilia. In the Lake family, blood is thicker than water, and their blood is thicker than most. Lake Dead is written by Daniel P. Coughlin, directed by George Bessudo and is executive produced by Mike Karkeh.
Lake Dead is 1 of the 8 films that will screen during After Dark's Horrorfest, now in its 2nd year. In 2006, After Dark's Horrorfest became the first film festival in history to break into the top 10 at the national box office, grossing over $2.5 million on only a quarter of the screens of any other film in the top 10 that weekend. The "8 Films to Die For" package, released on DVD by partner Lionsgate Films, has reached success with over 1.8 million DVDs in circulation

Lake Dead not only marks the feature film directorial debut of George Bessudo, it's also the first script by Daniel P. Coughlin to be turned into a movie. Alliance Group Entertainment re-teamed up George to film another project scripted by Coughlin, the psychological horror thriller "Farmhouse," which also has Mike Karkeh serving as executive producer.
