Albany, NY (PRWEB) November 26, 2007 -- As the makers of Sinus Buster, the world's most popular natural nasal spray, SiCap Industries is using their notoriety and financial success to rescue wild animals in trouble. Cherokee Is The Latest Rescue Success Story
Cherokee Is The Latest Rescue Success Story

My mother runs a small rehab center that takes in animals year round. She does the whole thing out of her own pocket. Sometimes it's babies whose mothers have been killed, and other times it's nuisance calls for animals that have ended up somewhere they're not supposed to be. But the majority of calls are for injured and sick animals
"We made our mark with natural medicines, and it's important for our company to help support everything natural. Our manufacturing processes follow this same green thinking. We use natural botanicals and clean manufacturing methods to produce our products. The only waste our company has is cardboard that we send to recycling centers. And obviously we don't test any products on any animals whatsoever. It's important to protect Mother Nature any way we can, and for us it's as simple as protecting the future of wildlife," says Wayne Perry, president of Sicap Industries, LLC.

The crew at SiCap Industries regularly answers calls to save wild animals in trouble sponsoring several telephone hotlines that allow professional wildlife rehabilitators to provide round the clock services for animals in need.

"My mother runs a small rehab center that takes in animals year round. She does the whole thing out of her own pocket. Sometimes it's babies whose mothers have been killed, and other times it's nuisance calls for animals that have ended up somewhere they're not supposed to be. But the majority of calls are for injured and sick animals," adds Perry.

During 2007, SiCap personell rescued a variety of injured animals including foxes, skunks, possums, racoons, beavers, hawks and owls. By posting videos of rescued wildlife on Youtube, the company is hoping to bring public attention to the plight of nature's creatures as the world continues to infringe on their natural habitats.

Even SiCap's president has gotten personally involved after bonding with a red fox who was near certain death. The fox named Cherokee was found almost lifeless and suffering from the worst case of mange any veterinarian had ever seen. In order to save the fox, several people had to hold him down to apply medicine to his skin over a period of months, but the process was so stressful to the animal that it seemed to make his situation worse.

When Wayne Perry heard about Cherokee's problem, he took a trip to his mother's rehab center to see if he could help. The first time they met, Cherokee allowed Wayne to apply the medicine by himself without any problem.

"For some reason that fox liked me right off the bat. He was scared to death of everyone else except me, and it gave me a warm feeling deep inside to be part of his rehabilitation. He even let me pet him, but I'm not sure why. I guess we just bonded. After six months at my mom's rehab center, Cherokee was completely healthy. Yesterday we transferred him to another rehab facility where he gets to live with other foxes until he's released back into the wild this spring. It felt so good to see him make it. Helping animals is far more satisfying than all the business success in the world," adds Perry.

According to SiCap's president, the protection of wildlife is important to the protection of nature as a whole. And with global warming concerns taking shape across the world, Sicap Industries is committed to protectiing our natural resources on all levels.

"I truly believe that saving the habitat of nature's creatures is also part of saving the world for all of us. We need to stop polluting the world and start innovating new ways to derive power from the earth without ruining the habitat. It all starts with protecting the nature that lives closest to you."
