Child Bible Story Site Redesigned to Attract Season's Online Shoppers

Online Retailers Deck the Virtual Halls to Compete with Offline Sales. A child Bible story website has been completely redesigned for the holidays in an effort to attract this season's flurry of online shoppers.

Australia, New South Wales (PRWEB) November 30, 2007 -- A child Bible story website has been completely redesigned for the holidays in an effort to attract this season's flurry of online shoppers.

Online shopping has soared over the past five years. Moms and dads don't like the idea of being herded into a retail center, only to push their way past other desperate parents to try to secure the last "must-have" toy on the shelf.

I love Adam's child Bible story blog because it gives me free stories and online video clips
Tom Broadbridge, who owns the child Bible story website decided to have the site redesigned to better showcase his selection of potential Christmas gifts this year. "The new layout is rich, colorful, and the customer can try before they buy through a series of free online clips."

Black Friday is fading gradually as shoppers seem content with sitting in front of their computer to point, click, and buy instead of waiting in lines at 3 A.M. the morning after Thanksgiving. In fact, a new retailer day has emerged as a threat to the success of Black Friday - Cyber Monday.

"On Cyber Monday, I was shopping online all day," claims Tiffany Dow of Arlington, Texas. "You couldn't pay me to get out on Black Friday, and the best thing was, I got everything I was looking for without fail."

Dow isn't alone in her quest for an easier and more satisfying shopping experience. Broadbridge has received emails from customers who appreciate that they're able to view clips, read blogs about the product, and ask questions if necessary - something you can't do when you're standing in line at Toys R Us and the only person you see is a 16 year-old cashier trying to usher customers in and out fast.

Sales for The Animated Kids Bible series have risen with the new design. "A plain website just doesn't cut it anymore," says Broadbridge. "Even though it's more convenient, we're still competing with off-line retailers who have the ability to trim the store in a festive holiday mood."

That's enough to entice Dow to the site. "I love Adam's child Bible story blog because it gives me free stories and online video clips," she says. "I also ordered the entire series for my kids because they love 3D animation."
