Club Icon Jeyjon Back in the Studio

Singer and UK club personality Jeyjon is currently in the studio, recording a series of followups to his hit tracks "Don't Want to Be In Love", "All The Freaks", and "Never Good Enough." "They (the songs) sound fantastic," Jeyjon said in September. "...I'm on my eighth track now. I think we will soon have an album!"

London, UK (PRWEB) November 30, 2007 -- Kylie has used him in her videos. So have the Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, and the Spice Girls. He's performed before hundreds of screaming music fans as a core member of the iconic glam rock band Dead Or Alive. His avante-garde image, which put him in hot demand as a model, has graced television screens, magazine pages, and the stages of London's hottest clubs. Now Jason Alburey, aka Jeyjon, is continuing on the glittery road to fame... only under his own neon steam.

Alburey, whose stage name, 'Jeyjon', has its genesis in a childhood moniker, takes to the spotlight as though predestined to be a star. He has a sultry, powerful singing voice and a stage presence that's captivated massive club crowds. Visually, he's an extraordinary individual, with a waterfall of silky hair, canyon cliff cheekbones, and a svelte physique. Jeyjon's live appearances and professionally produced video, "Never Good Enough", are YouTube favorites among those who love dark disco. "Never mind the hair, how HOT is this guy!!! How great is this tune??? I wanna hear it over and over again. Let's dance!!!" one fan enthused.

2007 has been a busy year for Jeyjon. After a successful appearance at the Soho Review Bar in December 2006, he gave in to fan demand and went into the studio with Italian D.J. Marascia to record a series of tracks best described as a striking blend of electro-rock and nightshade disco. (Two songs- "I Don't Want To Be In Love" and "All The Freaks"- are currently available for download via iTunes UK.) In 2007 he sang onstage at "The Egg" in London to celebrate the club's May 5 birthday, wowed crowds at the Act Art exhibition, and performed his new material live at Pushca on June 18. He also appeared in the Living TV series "Pete's P.A.", which aired in the UK in October. He is currently in the studio, compiling tracks for a potential future album.

Actor, model, musician, music icon. There doesn't seem to be a creative outlet that Jeyjon has not explored and ultimately conquered. Martin Scorsese's ex-wife, creativity guru Julia Cameron, once asserted, "It's audacity, not talent, that often determines who makes it and who doesn't." Jeyjon is that rare breed that possesses both.
