Snow Hill Production and Capstone Entertainment Group Join Forces to Produce a Film About the Wyeths

A new film about the three generations of Wyeth painters.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 1, 2007 -- CEO of Snow Hill Productions and Producer Mary Kemper Wolf, Producer Aimee Larrabee, and Executive Producers Eric Keith and David Huffman of Capstone Entertainment Group today announced that they will partner to produce a narrative feature film in the Spring of 2008 about three generations of Wyeth painters. "The Wyeth family history is just as intriguing as their art, and so a feature film made perfect sense."

The producers contracted screenwriter Frank Barhydt to write the script currently entitled The Wyeth Project. Mr. Barhydt is best known for his collaboration with director, Robert Altman on several projects throughout his illustrious career including Short Cuts and Kansas City. "We could not be any happier to be working with Snow Hill on this amazing project, the story speaks for itself," said Eric Keith CEO of Capstone. "Frank Barhydt has captured the magic of the Wyeth's world perfectly," said David Huffman.

Inspired by true events in the lives of the three generations of Wyeth men N.C., Andrew, and Jamie, The Wyeth Project is a drama about Jamie's struggle to fulfill a new commission. A publisher has contracted him to complete illustrations for The Wanderer, a novel loved by the whole family that had been started by both N.C. and Andrew.

In the midst of an extravagant Halloween party, Jamie enters into a soul-searching journey that is led by a rolling cast of characters, both dead and alive, both real and imaginary. As Jamie learns more and more about his father and grandfather, he begins to better understand himself, his process, and his own identity as a painter.

Production Dates: Production slated to begin May 2008.
Production Team: Producers Mary Kemper Wolf, Aimee Larrabee, and Peter Heller. Executive Producers Eric Keith and David Huffman; Writer Frank Barhydt
