Reed Construction Data Seeks to Help Rebuild Louisiana and Mississippi

Free construction project leads available to contractors looking to work in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 6, 2007 -- Reed Construction Data has announced a two-part effort, starting December 1st, to help stimulate local economies throughout Louisiana and Mississippi; areas still rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina.

"The devastation from Katrina has had long-lasting effects on the economy and reconstruction is a long and difficult process," said Iain Melville, CEO of Reed Construction Data. "It can be very taxing on a community and its resources and any increased construction activity in these areas will help stimulate the local economies."

Reed is offering Louisiana and Mississippi commercial and civil bulletins, to those seeking construction project news in these areas. Anyone can have access to these Reed Bulletins free of charge, for the month of December 2007.

"Our goal is to provide construction companies with quick and easy access to construction project information," said Robert Minnaugh, director of product management for the contractor market. "We want to help bridge the gap between owners and contractors and provide a means of informing them about project opportunities."

In related efforts, Reed Construction Data is a sponsor of DesCours (www.aianeworleans.org), a free, eight-day architecture and visual arts event in New Orleans designed to boost the city's economy and stimulate interest in architecture and cultural tourism, presented by AIA New Orleans.

DesCours will run from December 7-14 and feature a variety of fine art and architectural installations from internationally recognized artists, entertainment from local musicians, an opening night celebration, along with several other unique shows and exhibitions.
