This Holiday Season, Life Preserver Digital Archiving Invites You to Digitize 8mm, Super 8mm and VHS Home Videos at a Quality and Price that Can't be Beat

Life Preserver uses custom built state of the art technology to ensure the safest and highest quality transfer of your home videos to DVD.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 7, 2007 -- There is the old way of digitizing video and there is the Life Preserver way. Life Preserver Digital Archiving, LLC announces its new archiving service, the internal, direct capture of 8mm and Super 8 film. Targeted to help baby boomers preserve their most treasured memories, Life Preserver uses a custom built telecine machine to direct capture 8mm and Super 8 to a hard drive.

Projecting and re-recording is the most common method of film transfer. It's a cheap and easy way of digitizing film, but the quality of the digital video suffers. Life Preserver uses a frame-by-frame method and a color restoration service to preserve the entire film and prevent it from additional aging and deterioration.

Life Preserver uses the highest quality scanners and a proprietary scanning system to ensure the best digital transfer of media. Life Preserver also digitizes photos, slides, negatives and VHS. Once digital, we offer it back to the client on whatever portable media storage device they desire. We come to their home or office. We'll pick up their media, take it to our office, scan, restore and archive it and return the originals and their digital counterparts looking better then they ever have. Everything is done onsite in Los Angeles.
