SecureUSA Protects Key US Facilities from Terrorist/Activist Attack

SecureUSA Inc, the leading provider of perimeter defense solutions, announced today the acquisition of several major perimeter defense contracts closing out their best quarter sales result for 2007.

Atanta, GA (PRWEB) December 10, 2007 -- SecureUSA Inc, the leading provider of perimeter defense solutions, announced today the acquisition of several major perimeter defense contracts closing out their best quarter sales result for 2007. SecureUSA reorganized their business units during the late spring of 2007 to better serve their growing client base throughout North America and the results achieved speak for a very successful transition. Major contracts acquired include sports venues, University Campuses, Federal Classified Projects, Environmental Protection sites, Museum entrances, Courthouses and Nuclear Research Facilities.

SecureUSA's line of electric and manual Retractable Bollards, Shallow SideWALK Bollard™ as well as the second generation electric FutureWEDGE™ Barrier, have all contributed to the year to date success. The exclusive EPA friendly "green" electric bollards and barriers have been widely adopted in the marketplace, replacing noisy and outdated hydraulic systems. The electric product range has not only proven to be more efficient and reliable than traditional systems, but are easier to install and very quiet in operation, proving a big hit in metropolitan locations.

Security managers and facility owners are becoming more and more aware of their responsibility to protect their patrons and employees and are increasingly contacting SecureUSA for assistance and expertise
With SecureUSA's electric surface mount FutureWEDGE™ in high demand, SecureUSA has been selected to work with Federal Protective Services and a prestigious western State University on two separate projects. Protecting a busy senate parking facility and vulnerable under stadium areas at a popular University Stadium, SecureUSA will install the FutureWEDGE™ to provide a reliable, high duty cycle, yet low maintenance perimeter defense system.

Other new contracts include the installation of retractable bollards at a famous National Museum and the protection of several large reservoir perimeters. SecureUSA has also been commissioned to protect a federal classified project, Government service offices and busy downtown Subway entrances, amongst other smaller projects for Minority Owned Businesses, where SecureUSA's new EPA friendly electric bollards and barriers have been requested. Working with the Defence Ministry, State Police, various military bases and one of the country's top Military Universities, SecureUSA has had to add several new members to its busy sales force and field operations team, to meet the heavy demand for its services and expertise.

Recent completed projects include a security upgrade at a large US Air Force Base and the provision of turnkey services to prestigious banking establishments in Wall Street, New York. SecureUSA installed electric FutureWEDGE™ vehicle barriers to protect 'at risk' loading dock areas and the unique SecureUSA SideWALK Bollard™ to provide total perimeter protection whilst minimizing the impact on city subsurface utilities.

SecureUSA also recently completed a high profile project for the protection of the New York power grid, supplying technical expertise and the latest electric FutureWEDGE™ vehicle barriers.

With experience in counter-terrorist protection gained from over a decade of international work for government, corporate and military establishments, SecureUSA continues to provide integration of the latest security technologies into total perimeter solutions, providing design build, engineering, project management consulting, installation, service and maintenance services.

"Security managers and facility owners are becoming more and more aware of their responsibility to protect their patrons and employees and are increasingly contacting SecureUSA for assistance and expertise," stated Bevan Clark, CEO.

'SecureUSA is excited about the many projects ahead and is proud to be playing its part in creating a safer future for the American public,' commented Mr Clark concerning the recently acquired contracts.
