Full Sail Staff Joins the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central and Northern Florida to Document 3000th Wish

On Monday, December 10, staff from the Film Department of Full Sail Real World Education (www.fullsail.com) will be lending their talents to document the 3000th wish made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central and Northern Florida (www.wishcentral.org).

Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) December 8, 2007 -- On Monday, December 10, staff from the Film Department of Full Sail Real World Education (www.fullsail.com) will be lending their talents to document the 3000th wish made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central and Northern Florida (www.wishcentral.org).

With the help of the Orlando Magic and the Amway Arena, wish child J.P.,14, from Davenport, FL will meet his favorite players, including Dwight Howard and Carlos Arroyo and will serve as the honorary ball boy at the game. J.P.'s wish will also include two days at Universal Studios and accommodations by the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando.

The Film Team at Full Sail will be following J.P. throughout his momentous and memorable wish and completing a documentary piece that will serve as a witness to the incredible wishes they fulfill each day.

"I am thrilled to be part of this important milestone in our chapter's history. Our goal is to reach as many children as possible battling life-threatening medical conditions throughout our territory; which now includes Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, Melbourne, Jacksonville, Pensacola and every other city or town in between," said Donald Plumley, M.D. - Chair of the Board and Children's Surgical Associates - Pediatric Surgeon.

Dave Franko, Full Sail's Director of Film, said, "We are honored to help and offer our services in this very special cause and to share in J.P.'s wonderful moment."

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida grants the heartfelt wishes of children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. The Foundation is also currently in the midst of its 12th Annual Stories of Light campaign. During the campaign, Make-A-Wish teams up with Magic 107.7FM and WESH 2 News to share with the Central Florida community 20 inspiring stories of courageous wish children. The goal is to raise $210,000 to grant an additional 30 local wishes.
