Long Live Crime Records Signs The Bangkok Five

The Bangkok Five set to release new album "We Love What Kills Us" Spring '08
We Love What Kills Us

Los Angeles, CA (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) December 10, 2007 -- Long Live Crime Records, one of the most ambitions independent labels in Los Angeles, has recently added The Bangkok Five to their roster of flourishing talent. The band who originated from Hollywood, California has been creating a tremendous amount of buzz surrounding their soon to be released album, "We Love What Kills Us" due out April of 08'.

The band's first single also entitled "We Love What Kills Us" will be the first taste into an album that promises to be a throwback to old glam rock with a dirty sex appeal. They've created this sound through musical inspirations like The Stooges and The Chemical Brothers and also credit James Brown and Michael Jackson as their top influencers. In the past, the Bangkok Five have shared the stage with top acts such as, The Cult, Papa Roach, Alice in Chains, Mooney Suzuki, Hot Hot Heat and Buckcherry. One of their best moments was the five month tour around the nation they proudly booked themselves through MySpace. Long time manager Tom Vitorino says "I have heard that rock is dead three or four times in my life. Well, I am here to tell you that rock is alive, doing well, and is as pissed off as ever - and as long as the world has teenagers, The Bangkok Five and a maverick label ala "Long Live Crime", you can save that funeral. The album drop is going to blow minds."

With the release of the new single and soon to be released album, The Bangkok Five is sure to be on every hipster kid's I-pod from Los Angeles to New York, from Lisbon to Tokyo and all points in between. Commenting on the acquisition is Long Live Crime Records CEO, Susan Ferris "I have been hearing about this band for a while. So when they crossed my desk as a band looking for a label I jumped at the opportunity to work with them. It is the perfect mixture of great music and sex appeal that anyone can appreciate. I am looking forward to releasing the record in early 2008 and being apart of their world domination"
