(PRWEB) December 13, 2007 -- Homes For Our Troops, President and Founder, John Gonsalves, will hold a press conference at 37 Godiva Lane (near 200 Skinner Hill Lane) Coventry, CT on December 15, 2007 at 11:00AM to announce the completion of this building project.

Coventry, CT, December 15, 2007 - Homes for Our Troops, a Massachusetts based 501 (c)(3) organization that builds and adapts homes for handicap accessibility for our most severely wounded veterans announces the completion of a new home for SGT Brian Johnston.

Sgt. Brian Johnston, USMC, from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, 1st Marine Division, was wounded November 8, 2004 in Fallujah, Iraq, when the Amphibious Assault Vehicle he was riding in was hit by an IED. Brian lost his right leg and right arm in that attack.

Brian's home is the second project that Homes for Our Troops has completed in CT. Homes for Our Troops completed work on barrier-free homes in Coventry for Sgt Jared Luce and his family in June. This project represents the 21st home completed through out the US, with 20 additional homes in various stages of construction.
