Good reviews continue for Christmas at Maxwell's, a new Holiday movie out on DVD. The movie is about spirituality and healing as seen through the faith, hope, love and forgiveness of a family struggling to find healing at Christmas time. It is inspired by a true story. Christmas at Maxwell's is quickly becoming a classic holiday movie. This PG-rated Dove Foundation Award winning holiday film is finding an audience all the way from college students to senior communities. Ed Griffis of WTGL TV-45 calls Christmas at Maxwell's "a warm and tender holiday movie". The movie is getting international legs as well as is being shown as far as the Middle East and North Africa on Sat7. Tom Carder, CAP MINISTRY calls the movie "... emotionally powerful ...well-stitched fabric of plot and subplots ...a story of courage, strength, faith and forgiveness".

Andrew May, as the lead Andrew Austin, is being compared to Tom Hanks (both have Cleveland Playhouse connections). Jacqueline "Jack" Hourigan (a McGill graduate) plays the part of his wife Suzy. Her credits include co-host of the show How to Boil Water on the Food Network, original cast member of Second City Cleveland, host of the Ready as She Grows and Ready as he Grows on DIY Network and Three Takes host along with Andrea Bain and Christine Diakos (Slice TV). Helen Welch is a song-writer, musician, actress, and vocalist and helps bring this compelling story to the screen.
