GSBC Announces Planned $12.250 Million Acquisition of SMS Gaming Content Provider International Digital Sports Technologies,plc (IDST)

Bangkok, Thailand (PRWEB) February 4, 2007 -- The board of GSBC announced today that it has made an offer to IDST (www.idstplc.com) shareholders to acquire the company in a $12.250m buyout. GSBC said it has received undertakings to accept the offer by 88% of IDST stockholders. Ronald Flynn, founder of GSBC stated "GSBC SmartScreen roll out in the United Kingdom is a big priority for us and integrating sporting content with the SmartScreen for public houses nationwide we feel is innovative, entertaining and an extremely profitable business model similar to our own." Continuing he said "Combining SMS interactive sports gaming on the SmartScreen together with advertising, event shows and communications can only be a success story."

European based IDST, through its wholly owned UK subsidiary 'Shirt Hot Limited' (www.shirthot.com) holds a nationwide British Pools Betting License and has developed proprietary SMS interactive gaming software based on The British Premiership football league. IDST will soon announce plans to launch additional gaming software focused on Auto Racing and Rugby Football. Alan Brooks, an IDST executive, said "This acquisition provides IDST with the ideal platform to expand our gaming network and access further development funding to realize our enormous potential worldwide. We are currently in discussions with several major pub chains for our UK roll out."

Combining SMS interactive sports gaming on the SmartScreen together with advertising, event shows and communications can only be a success story.
Flynn whose company GSBC will debut on the US stock market next week said "For GSBC it is about providing our customers with the best Digital Signage and broadcast technology available today which is our SmartScreen." He went on, "Delivering content to our platform with numerous profit centers will only increase customer loyalty and market applications. Revenue sharing is part of our business model and we want to see all of our valued customers enjoy the benefits. This is a forward looking move with some very able people" he said.

IDST develops and operates highly interactive software and hardware solutions for mobile gaming operators. The products can be operated over any channel like internet, SMS, MMS, EMS, i-mode, WAP, Pocket PC, IVR, GPRS, UMTS and iTV.
