Mr. Colfin, who runs the Bovine Bazaar Family of Websites, which includes the popular animated dance site cowdance.com, created the Dancewear Barn. The idea came when he was doing a favor for his niece. It took him several hours to find each site, search for specific leotards and compare the prices from each dance wear merchant. "There are price comparison sites for everything, from car insurance to electronics, why not dance wear?" said Mr. Colfin That was the beginning of the Dancewear Barn.

Menu bars and breadcrumb trails allow visitors to easily navigate throughout the site. At present, only leotards and tights are included, but an expansion to include dance footwear and accessories should be coming soon.
