Security Solutions International (SSI) Returns to Washington DC with the Acclaimed Building Safety and the Terror Threat Seminar

Security Solutions International (SSI), the nation's leading Homeland Security training and product company, will be returning to the Nation's Capitol to present its much acclaimed program Building Safety and the Terror Threat.

(PRWEB) February 28, 2007 -- Security Solutions International (SSI), the nation's leading Homeland Security training and product company, will be returning to the Nation's Capitol to present its much acclaimed program Building Safety and the Terror Threat.

The two-day seminar focuses on threat terrorists pose to buildings while the second day is aimed at CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) principles. SSI had more than 70 people attend this seminar in 2006 and is back by popular demand. Some of Washington's landmark buildings, and businesses sent representatives last year to learn how best to protect the building environment. The event will be held in Washington, D.C. at the Carlyle Suites hotel, on April 26th and 27th.

Participants will learn about the threat against buildings by one of the SSI presentation team's Israeli experts, brought from Israel for the first day's presentation. The common modus operandi of different groups and the tools they use are the focus of the first day including a look at surveillance and counter-surveillance as well as protective Israeli security strategies.

The second day is being presented by an American CPTED expert and former police officer who will give instruction in using CPTED to properly assess the building's security, create a security plan and integrate the various scenarios, officers and teams that will ensure it works into this planning.

This program is intended for Law Enforcement and First Responders, as well as architects, building managers, corporate security officers and security professionals that want to really find out how to make their buildings terror-proof.

The two-day program costs $450.00 and testimonials from participants that have attended all over the country are available on the company web site www.homelandsecurityssi.com. For anyone interested in anti-terror and counter-terror measures this is a must.
