"Eco To Go" Reverse Global Warming, While Saving World's Rainforests

Ecoagents in New York City has started a campaign (Eco To Go) to help New Yorkers do simple and effective things to help the planet, promote rainforest recovery, and reverse global warming. Ecoagents is a nonprofit organization created to defend and protect the world's Rainforests… especially the Amazon.

(PRWEB) March 1, 2007 -- The whole world is talking about global warming, but it seems that no one knows exactly what they can do as individuals to help.

On the Upper East Side of New York City, a group of volunteers called Ecoagents have started contacting delicatessens, restaurants and all kinds of food service establishments about "Eco To Go" - a new expression that is going to save tons of paper and plastic from becoming trash and pollution.

New Yorkers are saving the world's rainforests by saying "make it Eco To Go" when their food is delivered or to taken to go.

What is "Eco To Go"?
It's a new expression that when used, gives the opportunity to minimize waste and pollution to everyone that places an order for take out or delivery, as well delis, restaurant owners and employees that deliver food.

What to Do
Just mention "Eco To Go", and order will arrive with the minimum amount of packaging possible and will be delivered with one napkin, and no utensils.

New York alone will save thousands of tons of plastic and paper, exonerating millions of trees from destruction. These millions of trees will benefit us by adding tons of oxygen into the air. Breathing pure air eliminates the toxins from our body, keeping us healthy and happy in a world of abundant forests. A win/win situation for everyone.

Be a part of the "Eco To Go" campaign.
Next time you place an order for delivery say, "make it Eco To Go" and you will spare trees from destruction. This is catching on at many delis
on the Upper East Side and now delis in Midtown are doing it. Be part if the movement that will save the world's rainforests from destruction.

  • Almost 1/3 of the waste generated in the U.S. is from packaging
  • Plastics take 1000 years to decompose
  • The U.S. population tosses out enough paper & plastic cups, forks and spoons every year to circle the equator 300 times
  • Paper comes from trees, plastic comes for oil (petroleum). To obtain both paper and plastic worldwide forests are being contaminated and destroyed

Ecoagents in New York City are taking action and helping every New Yorker do simple and effective things to help the planet, promote rainforest recovery, and reverse global warming.

Ecoagents is a nonprofit organization created to defend and protect the worlds Rainforests… especially the Amazon.
