New Painting Series "Intrinsic Nature" to debut at Stellers Gallery in Neptune Beach, FL

Renowned painter and mixed-media artist Jennifer J.L. Jones will be featured in a one-person showing of her new series of contemporary paintings, "Intrinsic Nature", at the Stellers Gallery in Neptune Beach, FL.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 7, 2007 -- Stellers Gallery in Neptune Beach, FL will host the opening exhibit of renowned painter and mixed-media artist Jennifer J.L. Jones on Friday, March 23 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The gallery is located at Beaches Town Center, 200 First Street in Neptune Beach. The exhibit will feature the artist, in-person, and her new series, Intrinsic Nature.

According to Hillary Tuttle of Stellers Gallery, "Jennifer's nature-inspired works explore the fundamental qualities of nature. Each painting reveals a pattern, a rhythm, a color field, or a structure that is an ongoing nature-inspired process. While the paintings represent the personal response of the artist to the environment, they strive to produce a universal response from viewers as well."

"The work of Jennifer J.L. Jones explores the idea of energy and beauty through color, texture and the influence of nature. With a vast combination of mediums such as wax, asphalt, oil paint and paper textures, she evokes emotions, thoughts, and universal connecting points in the observer," said Tuttle. "We are honored to have her work exhibited at Stellers."

One of Jennifer's recent paintings, "Five Elements", provided added inspiration for the Tucker-Sadler designed, 44 Monroe residential high-rise in Phoenix, AZ. The work incorporates the five Chinese elements of nature - earth, wood, water, metal, and fire with the color palette forming a cohesive design element throughout the building.

Jennifer is a consistent contributor to charitable fund raiser events including: PACE Academy, Art Papers Magazine, Art with a Heart, and the Women's Center of Jacksonville. She received her B.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1994, and her work is widely collected by many major corporations and hotels throughout the world.

Her paintings are available for viewing on her website: http://www.jenniferjonesart.com.
