PokerTime hosted a number of satellite tournaments where they gave online poker players the chance to win a package to the European Poker Tour in Monte Carlo.
These satellites gave players the opportunity to win a package worth $16,800 to Monte Carlo where they could compete in the EPT Monte Carlo poker tournament.
Carlo G, who played on PokerTime, was one of the skilled players who won a package to the televised EPT Grand Final. On top of getting to play at James Bonds favorite casino, Carlo also gets another chance to win even more money and walk away as the ultimate EPT king. Last year's Grand Final winner 19 year old Jeff Williams took home $1,100,000.
The EPT Tour kicked off in Barcelona continuing in London, Baden in Austria, Dublin and Copenhagen. The remaining events on the tour are Dortmund, for the first ever time in Germany, Warsaw and the Monte Carlo Grand Final with 362 players already registered.
The EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final is Europe's richest poker tournament and is taking place in the Salles des Etoiles at the exclusive Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort from March 28 - April 1. Monte Carlo is well-known for it's most famous casino in Europe and its glamorous culture.
