New Industry Editor to Bring Curvy Expertise to Virtual Plus Modeling Magazine
Vancouver, WA (PRWEB) March 20, 2007 -- PLUS Model Magazine (http://www.plusmodelmag.com), the premiere virtual magazine celebrating and inspiring the plus size fashion and plus size modeling industry, is pleased to announce the addition of Larissa Laurel to the editorial staff.
"As the PLUS Industry Editor, my goal is to help promote the beauty that each individual woman is born with and to guide them by providing information on curvy fashion as well as excellent advice on the talent / modeling industry," shares Laurel.
Larissa started her modeling career in 1998 after the urging of her friends and family and by becoming an agent's assistant for a top-notch plus-size modeling agency in NYC. She has worked, as a model, with several NYC agencies and continues to work with most of her focus on print, fit, and acting.
Larissa's acting and singing career is truly a passion of the heart and she promotes and embraces non-traditional casting. She has appeared in several off-off Broadway productions and National Tours. Larissa was also an original founding member of The Original "Glamazons" and continues to tour with the dance theater group, "Treehouse Shakers".
Larissa has been featured in several magazines including Latina, Oprah, Bust, Paper, BBW and Mode.
